Massachusetts Gas Station Owner Digs His Heels Against Big Oil By Refusing To Sell Fuel Over High Prices

As gas prices continue to rise across the country, there’s one gas station owner who’s taking a stand — even if it means losing the business he’s owned since 1973. Reynold Gladu of Ren’s Mobil Service told his supplier that he wouldn’t buy any more fuel again until prices dropped. “I don’t want to be part of it anymore,” Gladu told the Daily Hampshire Gazette. “This is the biggest ripoff that ever has happened to people in my lifetime.”

Having a bank balance that resembles a telephone number obviously has its benefits, one of which being you can ask Pagani to specially commission a longtail supercar. The Pagani Huayra Codalunga has been created by the automaker’s in-house coachbuilders, Grandi Complicazioni, as an ode to the great designs of the ’60s. It’s 4 inches (360 mm) longer than the standard coupe and will be limited to just five examples, with each costing €7 million ($7.35 million USD at current exchange rates).

2024 Honda Prologue: Here’s What We Know About The GM Ultium-Based Electric SUV

Honda’s efforts to go all-in on the EV marketplace (for the U.S. at least, as the Honda e isn’t offered stateside) will start here, with the 2024 Honda Prologue. The Prologue will be based on General Motors’ Ultium platform, and our independent illustrations give us a good idea of what the EV SUV will look like in its final form. Nio ES7 Electric SUV Debuts With 644 HP And Up To 528 Miles Of Range

The latest EV to be added to the Nio lineup is the 2023 ES7 SUV. The ES7 will fit in between the ES6 and ES8, and features the brand’s new “Design for AD philosophy.” The interior is billed as a “second living room” and features a floating center console, karuun rattan wood trim, a Dolby Atmos surround sound system, and a 256-color ambient lighting system. Perhaps of most interest inside is the PanoCinema system that uses specially developed augmented reality glasses to project a 201-inch ‘screen’ at a distance of 19.7 feet (6 meters).

A meeting between Elon Musk and employees of Twitter saw the world’s richest man hint at possible layoffs for the company, depending on its financial situation. The meeting is the first that Musk has had with employees of the company since he launched a takeover bid in April. Musk has also threatened to ditch the deal over fake account numbers.


Meta Launches Avatar Store With Designer Clothes

Meta has launched an online Avatar store. Through the store, users of Meta products, including Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, will be able to purchase digital clothing for their avatar. The first brands on the store are Prada, Balenciaga, and Thom Browne, while Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that “Digital goods will be an important way to express yourself in the metaverse and a big driver of the creative economy.”
